You can choose any wording you like and include any information that you want to share with family and friends. Some mothers choose to include the height and weight of the baby, or have a photo of the baby for the photo birth announcements. Some mothers also include the time of the birth, but this is optional as well. It is enough to simply list the baby's name, birth date and any sentimental saying you feel is appropriate and the birth parents' names in the announcements.
